DENSCOL
®DENSCOL is an intelligent color measurement and process-control platform designed for offset printing operations.
The goal is not to replace high-end laboratory spectrophotometers, but to give press teams a practical, production-focused tool for measuring printed color patches, monitoring ink behavior, and making better correction decisions during real jobs.
Denscol combines a handheld measurement device, a backend system, and an operator-focused interface to help printers capture color and density-related data directly on press. The platform supports real production workflows, including job setup, press-specific configurations, reusable color bar templates, ink-unit tracking, measurement history, and operator release controls.
Instead of working as a simple standalone meter, Denscol structures each measurement by job, press, color, patch, and production context. This allows teams to detect color drift earlier, compare readings against targets, review historical behavior, and guide operators toward more consistent press adjustments.
The system is being developed with offset printing realities in mind: short runs, spot colors, repeated jobs, press variation, paper differences, manual corrections, and the need for fast decisions on the production floor.
Our long-term vision is to evolve Denscol from a guided measurement and recommendation platform into a smarter color-control system that learns from press behavior over time. By connecting measurement data, job history, and press response, Denscol aims to help print teams reach color faster, reduce waste, and improve consistency across multiple machines.
